October 2023 jobs up 2.1%
October’s statewide job count was up by 6,500, or 2.1 percent, from October 2022 according to new report released from Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Juneau, Alaska.
1400 jobs added in health care
Leisure and hospitality up by 1000 jobs over the year
700 jobs added in professional/business services
600 jobs added in transportation/warehouse/utilities/mining
