KEDC brought together local leaders on October 28 for the Housing Steering Committee reconvening, marking the start of implementing the Housing Action Plan. The session focused on shared priorities, coordination, and setting the foundation for measurable progress in 2025 and beyond.
KEDC Presents Q3 Update to the City Council
KEDC presented its third quarter update to the City Council on October 23, highlighting progress in housing, mariculture, and community driven economic projects. The report included insights from guest Kelly Wyche of the Center for Economic Development and outlined next steps in KEDC’s ongoing partnership with the City.
KODIAK HOUSING ACTION PLAN COMMUNITY PRESENTATION (recap)
On August 14, Kodiak Economic Development Corporation (KEDC) and the Center for Economic Development (CED) hosted a community presentation on the Housing Action Plan. The session highlighted project goals, community engagement efforts across Kodiak and the villages, and the launch of the new Housing Action Plan Dashboard. Participants provided real-time feedback and learned about upcoming focus groups to shape recommendations.
