Confidence Café brings hands-on workplace practice to Kodiak
Kodiak Economic Development Corporation's first Confidence Café brought together high school and college participants beginning their careers and established professionals with more than 20 years of workplace experience on Aug 11, 2026. Participants found value in strengthening their customer-service skills, workplace communication and professional confidence through practical, hands-on training at Bean & Bloom Coffeehouse.
Private well assessments support Kodiak homes and local businesses
KEDC and RCAC provided no-cost private well assessments and water testing at 15 Kodiak Island properties. The work supported Borough households and connected residents with City-based businesses that provide well-related services and supplies.
