The event will include updates on current initiatives, conversation around industry opportunities, and a collaborative discussion about how education and workforce partners can help support Kodiak’s future.

Kodiak Economic Development Corporation invites employers, educators, workforce partners, and community leaders to attend the Kodiak Workforce Forum on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 10:00am to 1:00pm, at the Kodiak Marketplace.
This forum will bring people together for a community conversation about workforce development in Kodiak, with a focus on current industry needs, emerging opportunities, and the role of education and career pathways in preparing local talent for the future.
The event will highlight several important areas of opportunity for Kodiak,including mariculture, emerging technology, career and technical education, and stronger alignment between employers, schools, training partners, and workforce development efforts.
Attendees will hear updates on current initiatives, learn more about opportunities connected to growing industries, and take part in a discussion about how local partners can better support workforce readiness in Kodiak.
The forum is designed to encourage practical conversation, strengthen local partnerships, and help identify ways to better connect students, job seekers, employers, and training resources.
