Kodiak Workforce Forum: Supporting Today’s Industry, Building Tomorrow’s Opportunities

The Kodiak Workforce Forum: Supporting Today’s Industry, Building Tomorrow’s Opportunities is a half-day working forum designed to connect industry, education, and workforce partners around shared priorities for Kodiak’s future workforce.

The event will feature three structured segments:

  • Updates on mariculture and emerging economic opportunities in Kodiak

  • Career and Technical Education pathways and workforce training programs

  • A facilitated employer discussion to gather input that will directly inform workforce alignment efforts and the Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA)

The goal of the forum is to create a clear connection between current industry needs and future workforce development strategies, while also building stronger partnerships between employers, schools, and training providers.
