For the past two years, Kodiak Economic Development Corporation (KEDC) has partnered with local businesses, industry leaders, and educators to bring Career Exploration: Onward & Upward to high school students, providing hands-on career exposure, skill-building, and direct connections with employers.

Now, we’re expanding. As we move forward, Career Exploration is growing to support college students and job seekers from the general public, ensuring even more individuals have access to career training, networking opportunities, and pathways to employment.

This dynamic, hands-on event bridges the gap between job seekers and employers, providing direct connections to career opportunities, training workshops, and real-world hiring insights.

Through industry panels, hands-on networking, skill-building sessions, and direct recruitment opportunities, Career Exploration is strengthening Kodiak’s workforce and creating new pathways for emerging and experienced talent alike.
